The Human Resource Management Office is a structural unit of Ilia State University, which is subordinate to the Head of Administration. The main functions of the Office are: 

• Development of a human resource management policy at the university, taking into account the fundamental principles and strategies of human resource management; 
• Implementation of all procedures related to the selection of academic, teaching, research, and administrative personnel within the scope of the office’s authority; 
• Preparation of draft administrative-legal acts, agreements, and various regulatory documents necessary for  the implementation of the human resources management policy; 
• Implementation of diverse research initiatives related to the role of the University as an employer and its employees, including the assessment of work performance through appropriately selected methods, tools and data analysis. 
• Ensuring the development of job descriptions for the University employees; 
• Maintaining personal records of the University employees, processing employment-related information; 
• Managing the integration and socialization processes of newly appointed staff at the University; 
• Identifying the needs for the development of behavioural and professional competencies of the University personnel and implementing appropriate measures.
