The Editorial Department of the Ilia State University Press is responsible for managing the editorial aspects of the publishing process.
The Department’s main functions include:
- Typing texts;
- Editing texts in compliance with the e literary language norms;
- Correcting morphological, syntactic, stylistic, spelling, and punctuation errors;
- Comparing translated texts with their originals, when necessary;
- Proofreading;
- Preparing texts in compliance with the academic style standards of Ilia State University;
- Collaborating with the Design & Layout Department to ensure that all prepared works adhere to the academic style standards of the University.
The Head of the Department- Natalia Vacheishvili
